DQ Entertainment has officially announced their decision to establish several indoor theme Parks dedicated to old cartoons, which were once loved by every child, all over India. Within the next few years, DQ Entertainment is set to collaborate with the India based multipurpose platform Chiliad Procons, to create world standard theme Parks all over the country, starting with the Jungle Book TV Series.
Within 2018 itself, DQ Entertainment is expected to debut their first theme park in Mumbai, followed by more parks spanning across other metropolitan cities like Delhi in the following years. According to the company, this theme park will be as close to a Disneyland equivalent as India will ever get. These parks will be designed to appear like a real-life jungle, complete with frail wooden bridges, life size elephants, and an elaborate light and sound show. The main characters of the beloved franchise, like Mowgli, Baloo, Bhageera, and Sher Khan will also be incorporated in various places within the theme park.
In an official statement, Prasuk Jain, the Managing Director of Chiliad Procons has given a statement assuring that it was his company’s pleasure to be able to invest in promising properties which will someday prove to become one of the most talked about landmarks of the country. Manoj Mishra, the Chief Operations Officer of DQ entertainment has also expressed his excitement at bringing all the adventure and fun of these animated cartoons previously experienced by children in 2D to real life. Following the Jungle Book, the companies have assured that other beloved cartoons like Peter Pan, and Robinhood will be brought to life in other theme parks around India, soon.
