The upcoming film, Veerey Ki Wedding that stars Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda in lead roles has one of the most famous Haryanvi Chartbusters, in its kitty. This song – ‘Hatt Ja Tau’ – has been reigning over the North of India for quite a few years now and till date enjoys immense popularity.
This song is a must at all Weddings in the North, especially in the NCR zone of Delhi.
However, what actually makes the new bigger is that the song will star Haryanvi singer and dancer – Sapna Chaudhary. The singer/dancer/actor who recently completed her stint in Bigg Boss is a well known name in the North of India.
It is only an icing on the cake to hear that she is a part of the video song.
“Producers of the film, Rajat Bakshi and Pramod Gomber, have strong Delhi and Haryana connect and they understand the flavor and milieu of the region. Since Veerey Ki Wedding is arriving this festive season, it was prudent that a celebratory number was added to the narrative. It had to reflect the rustic setting of the situation in the film and they felt that ‘Hatt Ja Tau’ would be just the right ingredient to the fun-n-frolic mood,” says a close associate, of the film.
“Sapna enjoys very huge popularity up North and her videos have seen by millions. Her stage performances are a riot too and in the local regions she is quite a celebrity,” our source adds, “Once the song was locked in and Sapna came on board, it was the matter of putting it all together in a manner that went well with the flow of the film and also brought her to the fore. The results are there to be seen,” the source added.
Sung by all time favourite Sunidhi Chauhan, the song is written by Dr. Devendra Kafir, Ramkesh Jiwanpurwala and Chandan Bakshi with Jaidev Kumar as the composer.
