Thankful for love, criticism for 'Simran': Hansal Mehta!

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta says that he is very thankful for all the love he got for his recently released movie ‘Simran‘. Earlier Hansal had deleted all his social networking accounts, but he has returned to social networking platform just to thank all his viewers for loving his latest movie ‘Simran’.

Recently Hansal has deleted his Twitter account and after deleting his account there were many rumors in the B-Town that what could be the reason that has led Hansal to take this decision and many have said that he did that because of the average response of his recently released movie ‘Simran’.

On Tuesday, he came back on the Twitter and clarifies all such rumors by saying that “Since so many people are speculating about me deleting my twitter account, here I am.”

Moreover, he thanked everyone for the love as well as for the criticism which is coming in his way. The movie ‘Simran’, which was directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The movie features Kangana Ranaut in the lead role.

In the movie, Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the role of Praful Patel, a nurse in the US. The lead character in the movie has confessed that she is a kleptomaniac and gambles a lot. The story of the movie ‘Simran’ is said to be inspired by the life of the Sandeep Kaur, an NRI from the United States, she has done few robberies.

In the movie, she is probably suffering from split personality disorder and she is a divorcee. She stays in the US and keeps meeting potential suitors, but none of them actually stay back after getting acquainted with her quirky nature. Her father wants her to lead a certain life but on that she gets violent. She seems like she is full of energy but she is weak and ill from inside as we can also see blood coming out from her nostrils.

However, actress Kangana Ranaut created a lot of buzz into the media with her confession in interviews ahead of the release of the movie ‘Simran’. The movie was itself was mired in the controversy since the launch of its poster when the writer Apurva Asrani had slammed the actress Kangana Ranaut for taking the co-writer credit in the film.
