Only one film old actress Janhvi Kapoor has joined Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma for Dinesh Vijan’s another horror-comedy titled ‘Rooh-Afza’. The shooting of the film will commence from June this year and the film is slated to release on 20 March next year. An official announcement regarding the same has already been done.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the official announcement of the film on Twitter and wrote, “Janhvi Kapoor joins Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in #RoohAfza… Directed by Hardik Mehta… Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba… Shoot begins in June 2019… 20 March 2020 release… Official announcement:”

This will be the second collaboration of ‘Stree’ actor and producer Rajkumar Rao and Dinesh Vijan.
The film was announced on 17 December last year and Taran made it official on Twitter. He wrote, “IT’S OFFICIAL… After the humongous success of #Stree, producer Dinesh Vijan and actor Rajkummar Rao team up for a horror-comedy yet again… Not titled yet… Costars Varun Sharma… #Fukrey director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba is the creative director… Starts early 2020.”

Rajkumar is currently busy with ‘Made In China‘ with his co-star Mouni Roy. His upcoming project is ‘Mental Hai Kya’ with Kangana Ranaut.
Rao was last seen in a homosexual love story titled ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’, in which he shared the silver screen with Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Anil Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla.
While Janhvi Kapoor who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Dhadak’ opposite Ishaan Khattar, is busy with the shoots of Gunjan Saxena biopic and she will be also seen in Karan Johar’ ‘Takht’.
