On the work front, Janhvi is currently waiting for the release of her upcoming biographical drama film Gunjan Saxena. The film is based on the life of Gunjan Saxena, first female Indian Air Force pilot and first Indian woman airforce pilot in combat.
Janhvi has finished shooting for the film and is scheduled to be theatrically released in theatres on 13 March 2020.
Another project in Janhvi’s kitty is Roohi Afza. It is a horror comedy-drama film directed by Hardik Mehta and starring Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Varun Sharma in lead roles.
Janhvi will also be seen in upcoming Netflix original Ghost Stories, directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar. It stars a huge cast consisting of Radhika Madan, Mrunal Thakur, Amyra Dastur, Avinash Tiwary, Janhvi Kapoor, Raghuvir Yadav, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vijay Varma and Pavail Gulati.
