Bollywood actor Janhvi Kapoor, who made her debut in Shashank Khaitan directorial Dhadak last year, has wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. She took to her Instagram account to share the information and wrote, “Spent two days trying to think of a caption that’ll do justice to what this experience has meant to me but nothing sums it up. It’s a film wrap.”
She also shared a still from the film that features her sitting on a helicopter wearing the uniform of Indian Air Force officer. She wrote, “I feel blessed to have been on this special journey, and through it to find my best friend Sharan Sharma- like you say it’s all about the process; and I don’t think there will ever be one as pure, honest, adventurous and memorable as this one. Can’t wait for you guys to see it.”

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is a biopic based on the life of Gunjan Saxena, first female along with Srividya Rajan Indian Air Force pilot and first Indian woman air force pilot in combat along with Srividya Rajan.
Besides Janhvi Kapoor, the film also features Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles. While Tripathi plays the role of her father, Bedi will be seen as her brother in the film. Vineet Kumar Singh and Manav Vij will also appear in other important roles.
Directed by the debutant Sharan Sharma, the film is produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. It is scheduled to be released on 13 March 2020.
