Some people are not afraid from expressing their opinions and Kangana Ranaut is a perfect representation of this. The actor has now spoken again, this time against her own colleagues in Bollywood. The actor is irked with her colleagues showing support towards the black lives matter movement on social media.

In an interview, the actor said that when it comes to support issues of their own country, her colleagues remain mum. Talking to Pinkvilla, she said :

“The Sadhu lynching happened a couple of weeks ago; still no one said a word. It happened in Maharashtra where most of these celebrities reside…Bollywood anyway is a derived name from Hollywood. It is a shame they [Bollywood celebrities] continue to live in a bubble and never fail to jump on the bandwagon, which can give them two minutes of fame, but ‘white people’ must drive the bandwagon. Perhaps, it is because of their pre-independence colonial slavery genes.”

Actors like Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor came out to show their support towards the black community via social media which has been noticed by not only Kangana but several other people on social networking sites.

Politician Omar Abdullah also shared opinions with Kangana and tweeted “So much respect for all the celebrities tweeting #BLACK_LIVES_MATTER. It takes courage to bring your cowardice to the fore when you tweet for American lives but can’t tweet for Indian lives.”

Kangana had previously too criticised her industry colleagues over their lack of support for relevant issues. She has also spoken against the patriarchal behavior of some leading men in Bollywood.
