Reports reveal that the Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will be getting the title rights from the actor Salman Khan for her upcoming movie. After her recently released movie ‘Simran’ which debacle at the box office. Now, it looks like an actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to up her games with the several notches and she has left no stone to embark on a new project after the movie ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi‘ and now it has been reported that she is struggling to get the title of her choice for the very next film.
Sources reveal that as soon as the Kangana wraps up the shooting for her upcoming movie ‘ Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’ after that she would start working on the crime thriller and for that, she wants the movie should be titled as ‘Mental’. In the order to lock the title of the movie, when the actress Kangana Ranaut approached the Indian Motion Pictures producer Associations (IMPPA), the actress was told by the association that the title has been already locked with the Salman Khan films.
A few years ago, it has been reported that the Salman Khan’s team had registered the title when they were toying with the idea of naming Kabir Khan’s under-production film that has been titled as ‘Mental’. However, the makers of the movie later changed the name to ‘Tubelight’.
However, actress Kangana Ranaut recently rejected the role to play the female lead actress in the movie ‘Sultan’, opposite Salman Khan. According to the recent reports, both of them still shares a warm relationship and due to that the makers of the movie and Kangana together have approached Salman Khan’s production house to get the copyright of the title.
On the work front, Kangana is currently busy with the last leg of work related to her period drama movie titled ‘Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi’. The movie is said to be a biopic on Rani Laxmi Bai. The movie will be directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain & Co-Produced by Nishant Pitti of EaseMyTrip.com. The movie features actress, Kangana in the lead role of Jhansi Rani Laxmibai.
While on the other hand, Salaman Khan is gearing up for the movie titled ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, which is a sequel to the movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. The movie features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead. The movie is all set to release on December 22, 2017.
