If you have been missing your favourite comedian, Kapil Sharma, on your television screens, you need not worry anymore. He is all set with his comeback on Sony TV. A teaser has been released marking his return on the channel.

The teaser released by Sony TV shows Kapil talking to an auto driver who refuses to take him unless he pays his dues. Kapil then takes a bus and when asked by the auto driver, “kaha ja rahe ho” Kapil replies, “ja nahin raha hu, aa raha hu”, insinuating his comeback on TV. The tag line laut kar aa raha hai, kuch naya la raha hai (coming back, bringing something new) piques our interest as it will be interesting to know what new is in store for the audiences now.

Here’s a look at the teaser-

Kapil too tweeted about his upcoming show. He wrote, “here is the first teaser of our new show on @SonyTV need ur best wishes”.

Kapil had been missing from the television after his show was stopped midway. If rumours are to be believed, his increasing alcoholism lead to this disruption. According to reports Kapil had to cancel shoot with a few of the actors including Anil Kapoor and Shahrukh Khan due to his deteriorating health. As a result, the channel and Kapil “mutually agreed to take a short break”. But now Kapil is well and all ready to make his return on television.

Prior to this show Kapil’s movie Firangi released in November but failed to do well in the box office. Kapil doesn’t see this as a setback. In fact in an interview he was reported saying, “I feel very nice that people love me so much. I wanted to come on TV, and not even dreamt of being in films. Now, I have done both… I feel very nice and hope this love keep pouring and I keep on doing the good work”.

All said and done, we are looking forward to Kapil taking us on a laughter ride all over again.
