An actor Karan Kundra has got millions of followers from his show titled ‘The Idiot Box’. He has never been into consistent with a particular kind of a genre of shows on TV, but still, he has managed to become a successful television star you can either call it a luck or just a haphazard play of an event. He has done every sort of the show be it daily soap, judging a reality show, hosting, ensemble cast films, reality show and currently he is working on the digital space. He believes that there are no limitation and norms in his life.
Even Karan agrees with the fact that he has worked in all the mediums and now he says that he is working on something which is totally different what he has done so far. He says as an actor you can’t be so choosy about your projects rather he believes that projects pick you. Moreover, he says that actors have to be beggars if they belong from a school of art so they will be taught to start up things from the grassroots. Many times it happens that he has refused the projects so he feels that there is no medium that satisfies him and he believes that as an actor one should not care much about the medium what really matters is the content. Karan just follows the happiness and he is very much passionate about his work.
He feels that one should not divert their attention to the ten different things and if somebody does that it will lead them nowhere. Well, this thing can actually be applied to his case because he is all over the place and currently which might lead to the loss of the actor’s charm.
Karan says that if you want to set an example for others then you have to do things do this which others can’t even dream of and if you want to be different then you can not follow the rules. Karan has tasted an immense popularity after been a part of few shows. When he came to Mumbai in search of work he used to get 3000Rs per day and he said that there were stars of his age and they used to get 25000Rs per day. He always urges to be like them and then later he became one of the highest paid actors in the television industry and that is the point where he quits the daily soap.
Then he attempted other shows like ‘Gumrah’, ‘Roadies and much more. Moreover, he said that one day he got a call from Ekta Kapoor and she asked him to return back to the daily soap and that time he was the highest paid actor. One can not believe that he was charging one lakh per day, where earlier he was only getting 3000 when he came to Mumbai. If he would not have the urge to get those 25000 then he would have faded away and those actors did not have that urge and they all vanished.
He has literally thrown him everywhere where ever he could get comfortable and whenever he has thrown himself on certain things he came out stronger. He even shared that somebody told him that after 30 actor’s career’s get over and he is 32 and he has recently signed a big budget movie and he feels that he has just started. Apart from this, he will also be seen in the reality show titled ‘Super Man’, which will air on VOOT.
