Kiara’s last outing, ‘Kabir Singh’, proved to be a massive commercial success of this year. Co-starring Shahid Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy, the film however, created buzz for propagating misogyny and toxic masculinity.
Having made her acting debut with Kabir Sadanand’s comedy thriller ‘Fugly’ in 2014, Kiara played the role of Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Rawat, in his biographical film ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’.
She received praised for her performance of an unsatisfied wife in the Netflix anthology film ‘Lust Stories. She shared the screen with Vicky Kaushal and her segment was directed by Karan Johar.
Kiara will be next seen in the romantic comedy ‘Good News’ along with Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh.
Apart from these, she is also filming for the horror comedy ‘Lakshmi Bomb’ and Captain Vikram Batra’s biopic ‘Shershaah.’
