Krushna Abhishek wants Amitabh Bachchan to come on his new comedy show titled “The Drama Company“, which is produced by Preeti Simoes in association with Frames Entertainment. The show will air on Sony Entertainment channel. It also features Ali Asgar, Sanket Bhonsle, Sungandha Mishra, Sudesh Lehri, Ridhima Pandit among others. Where Sunil Grover will not be the permanent part of the show. He will be making his appearances in the comedy show but once in a blue moon.
Amitabh Bachchan is coming back with his show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” so he wants him to come on his show for promotion. Krushna said in his previous show “Comedy Nights Bachao” he couldn’t invite Mr. Bachchan as they were not clean in humour. Krushna says, “No, we haven’t approached him in the past. We couldn’t invite him for ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’ as the format of the show is different and he is a different personality. Now on ‘The Drama Company’, I would want him to come as it is a family show.”
When asked about the comparison between “The Drama Company” and “The Kapil Sharma Show” He said, “I don’t think there are any comparisons between us. It is up to people whether they want to compare us or not. There is no competition between us as we are doing shows on the same channel. We never discuss about Kapil or what is happening on his show. We focus on our own work.”
Talking about Mithun Chakraborty, Krushna said, “I am excited and nervous to be with him (Mithun) in the same show. I know him since a very long time. It is for the first time that dada is coming on a show and that too comedy so I am excited to see him on the small screen. He has a lot of positive energy, his presence lights up the mood, he gives us lot of confidence, he is enjoying a lot.”
