Some call him maverick, some call him genius while some others call him Unconventional, but whatever you call him, you just cannot ignore him. I am talking about director, M. night Shyamalan, known for his suspense thrillers. His last film, Glass starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L Jackson and James McAvoy was a success at the box office.
His next untitled thriller, produced by Universal Studios as part of his two film deal with them, is going to release on July 23, 2021. As per a report from ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, it was going to release on February 26, 2021. Though, the Coronavirus stopped it.
Any details regarding the film are not known. Only one thing is known, which is that the film might be connected to his previous films. A penchant he has proved with his previous films too.
The cast of the film includes Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Alex Wolff, Ken Leung, Abbey Lee, and Nikki Amuka-Bird.
The director’s last three films Glass(2019), Split(2017) and The Visit(2015) were also produced by Universal Studios. All of them were a success.
Over the years he has come to be known for his films such as The Sixth Sense(1999), Unbreakable(2002) and Split(2017) for their unconventional themes and an interesting suspense.
