After releasing recreated versions of two 1980s songs, the makers of the upcoming film Marjaavaan have come up with yet another revamped version of a classic song. This time it is none other than the legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan whose song they have touched. The makers have released the recreated version of Nusrat’s classic Kinna Sona Tenu Rab Ne Banaya today.
The video song features Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, and Rakul Preet Singh. The chemistry between Sid and Tara is soothing to watch but it is Rakul who will steal your heart with her two glimpses. Usually presented as a girl next door, here Rakul is in a totally new avatar of a bar dancer. The saree, the blouse, nose ring, and an envious heart-aching expression on her face make her stand out.
The music of the song has been given by Meet Bros while for the vocals they are joined by Jubin Nautiyal & Dhvani Bhanushali.

The music of the film has received very warm response from the audience. The people are enjoying the songs of the film especially Ek Toh Kam Zindagani featuring Nora Fatehi which has crossed millions of views on YouTube. Haiya Ho featuring Rakul Preet has also been doing very well. However, both the songs are recreated versions of old songs from 1980s films Janbaaz and Dayavan. The original songs Tum Hi Aana and Thodi Jagah have become everyone’s favourite numbers.
Coming back to Marjaavaan, the movie is a powerful mass action love story with the highlight being the battle between Sidharth and Riteish’s character. While Riteish plays a dwarf villain, Sidharth plays a lover boy.
Directed by Milaap Zaveri, the film is slated to release on 15th of November.
