Actress Neena Gupta, who is known for her pathbreaking contribution in cinema and TV industry, is all set to write a web series for ALT Balaji. The actress who turned director now will make a comeback to writing after her critically acclaimed TV show ‘Saans’. Ronit Roy and Mona Singh will be playing the lead roles in a web series. The show will be produced by Shristi Behl and Ekta Kapoor will launch it as web series on ALT Balaji.
According to the sources it has been revealed that Ronit Roy and Mona Singh has been finalised for the web series. It will be a mature love story. With this web series, fans will get to see a fresh pair of both the actors.
In the recent series we have seen the most loved on screen jodi Ram Kapoor nad Sakshi Tanwar of ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain fame’ were seen in a web series ‘Kar Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat’ produced by ALT Balaji. The production house is still working on a suitable title. While Ronit was last seen in ‘Adaalat’ on TV, Mona is currently seen hosting ‘India Banega Manch’ along with Krushna Abhishek.
Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor is also gearing up to launch her ‘Chandrakanta’ next week on Colors and also a couple of new web shows. This week Ekta also celebrated her birthday with a party for her friends and family.
