All was going well for the director, Honey Trehan until Thursday came. The casting director turned director with the recently released Netflix film, ‘Raat Akeli Hai’ has tested positive for COVID-19. On Thursday, he shared this with the public on Twitter.

I have tested COVID positive today..BMC and the other authorities been informed as well.
My family and the staff will be getting tested soon.All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are kindly requested to please get themselves tested ! 🙏— Honey Trehan (@HoneyTrehan) August 27, 2020
When one tests positive for COVID-19, it is important for family members to get checked for the same too. Therefore, Honey’s family members too will get a COVID-19 test.
On July, 31 Honey’s debut film ‘Raat Akeli Hai’, came out on Netflix. It starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in the lead. A murder mystery, the film received good reviews, with Trehan receiving praise as a first time director.
In Bollywood, he first started his journey as a casting director, with which he has made a name for himself in the industry. Honey has worked as a casting director on many big Bollywood movies.
The list of movies on which he has worked includes Talvar, Delhi Belly, Raees, Udta Punjab, A Death in the Gunj, Omkara, and Tumbbad among others.
