Radhika Apte is currently riding on the waves of successes as she got not once but three nominations for Emmys 2019. Radhika got nominated for Best Actress and her shows Sacred Games Season 1 and Lust Stories also got nominated in other category. We will find out on November 25 to see, if any of these nominations actually go on to win the award.
Radhika Apte expressed her happiness on the nominations and shared her excitement. She told Hindustan Times, “The most important thing is that your efforts are getting recognised and appreciated. These are very prestigious awards and even being nominated is a big thing, So I’m very grateful”.
Talking about significance of Ammy nomination for Indian content, she said, “This’ll certainly encourage people here to make better content. I think the reason we’ve not been nominated before because our TV content has not been that good… This is the first time for the digital platform that our TV is getting better and nominated”.
