Bollywood actor Salman Khan‘s upcoming Indian spy thriller movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘ gets the U/A certificate with just the three minor cuts. However, the Central Board of Film Certification has said that all the members of the board are trying to come up with the balanced decisions on the certification of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming Indian Period drama movie titled ‘Padmavati’. Earlier, the movie ‘Padmavati’ was slated to release on December 1.

According to the recent reports, Salman Khan’s starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has cleared and received the U/A certificate. The Central Board of  Film Certification has cleared the movie with the two minor audio cuts and one visual cut. The movie which features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead role and now the movie is all set to release on December 22 this month.

The makers of the movie have applied for the certificate a month and a half ago and the completion of the shooting. Moreover, the reports also state that the movie ‘Padmavati’ might release only after the high decibel and a crucial Gujarat election.

The chief of the Central Board of Film Certification, Parsoon Joshi said that they need to understand that the CBFC must take a balanced decision because they believe that this situation was not created by the CBFC. The board has nothing to do with the protests on the roads. He feels that they should show the movie to the media houses and get the reviews done, but they all want that the Central Board of Film Certification to deliver the fair and a well-thought-out decision?

The movie ‘Padmavati’ which has been the quagmire over the violent protest against the release of the movie for its alleged depiction of a Rajput princess which has been played by an actress Deepika Padukone they believe that the makers of the movie have distortion the historical facts. There are some who believes that the makers of the movie have shown the dream sequence between the Rani Padmini and Muslim Sultan Alauddin Khilji, the makers have clarified many times that all such reports are untrue and are baseless.

Parsoon said that they have not cleared the certification of the movie in the first attempt with the board citing technical issues. Moreover, he said that they are not asking a lot of time. They usually certify the movie before the 68 days but we ask that the time so that the situation like this, they have time on this. This is not something new. This has been with the Central Board of Film Certification for years.

If there are certain people who don’t want to see this than that this their decision. He says that he respects Sanjay Leela Bhansali a lot but as a member of the film fraternity he understand him, but the issue is not just about the Sanjay Leela Bhansali it is more about the controversy over the film. However, the movie has been cleared by the United Kingdom certificate censor board and that too without any cuts. However, the makers of the movie are waiting for the certification in India. Until then they just cannot release the movie anywhere.
