Rohit Shetty’s directorial ‘Simmba‘ which released this week with a roar and is soaring high at the Indian Box Office as well in the international market. It became Ranveer’s highest opener till date and one of the highest opener of the year.

The second day was better than the first and the collection increased due to the weekend. On its first day, it earned Rs 20.72 crore at the Box Office India and Rs 13.14 crores in the overseas market. It was the Rohit’s biggest opener in Australia.

On its second day ‘Simmba’ earned Rs 23.33 crores in the home country and Rs 24.22 crores in two days in the global market.

According to the biz analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet, “#Simmba springs a BIG SURPRISE Overseas… Masala films, generally, have limitations in international markets, but #Simmba is scoring everywhere…”

In his other tweet he wrote, “#Simmba roars on Day 2… While Mumbai circuit is exceptional, the other circuits that were slightly low on Day 1 have also picked up”

Taran broke the film’s two days overseas earning country wise in his third tweet.

The film stars Ranveer Singh as Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba, an unethical cop who turns honest at the end, Sara Ali Khan, Simmba’s love interest, Sonu Sood as the antagonist and Sidharth Jadhav as a policeman.
