There is good news and bad news both at the same time. Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who tested positive for COVID-19 has tested negative for the virus now. He is on a path to recovery according to his son, SP Charan. However, there is bad news, which is that the singer is still on a ventilator.
The singer’s lungs are still taking time to recover because of which, he is still on the ventilator. SP Charan posted a video on Instagram, sharing this news with the public. In the video he says :
“We were expecting dad’s lungs to improve in order to remove the ventilator. Unfortunately, we are still not at that point. But the good news is that dad is COVID negative.”

While SP Balasubrahmanyam recovers in the hospital, he is keeping himself busy by watching Tennis and Cricket on his Ipad as per his son.
In the first week of August, the singer had contracted the virus. He was admitted to MGM Healthcare, Chennai after that. On August 13, his health had taken a toll, with a need to put him on an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Since then he has recovered a lot and is still undergoing treatment.
Let’s pray that he recovers from his illness soon, and gets discharged from the hospital.
