Sushant Singh Rajput will get justice, The Supreme Court assured this today (August 19). hIn a long ensuing case, which has taken more twists and turns than an Abbas-Mustan film, the Supreme Court gave an important verdict today. The actor’s death case will be probed by the CBI finally.
The court was hearing a plea actor, Rhea Chakraborty had filed. She was seeking the transfer of complaint against her from Patna to Mumbai. Sushant’s father KK Singh had filed a complaint against her and 5 others for abetment of suicide.
In a positive sign for Sushant’s family, the court upheld the FIR filed in Patna. While reading the verdict Justice Hrishikesh Roy said :
“FIR registered at Patna was correct and reference to CBI is lawful. The Bihar government is competent enough to transfer the case to CBI for investigation.”
As the news of the verdict broke out, Family members of Sushant and his former partner, Ankita Lokhande tweeted, expressing gratitude towards the Supreme Court. This is a big initial victory for friends and members of Sushant.

Their tweets conspicuously reflect the palpable happiness of the family with the verdict. Sushant had died on 14 June at his Bandra apartment by suicide. The actor was found hanging, with no suicide note.
A constant barrage of speculation was going around his death, though what this the truth no one really knew. Now, though this might change with the CBI stepping in to resolve this case finally.
Its been two months since the actor has passed away and his family has been under a state of despair ever since.
We just pray that the case finally gets resolved, with the truth out.
