‘Uri: The Surgical Strike‘ is inching closer to the 200 crore mark with each passing day. The film had a fantastic third week with collections of ₹23 crore net and now its total earning has reached over 157 crore net in 17 days.
According to the Box Office India, the film will go past some big grossers of last year like Race 3 and Baaghi 2 in the next few days. The film saw a dip on its third Friday but made it up due to the National holiday on Saturday which gave it a gave it a huge boost.

The third weekend of ‘Uri’ is the fourth highest ever after ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’, ‘Dangal’ and ‘PK’.
Although it came across competitions from two major releases last week, viz, ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Thackeray’, the film only dropped 37% this weekend.
According to the Box Office India reports, Mumbai circuit is a standout with business now going over 57 crore net and the circuit is contributing more than 35% of the all India business. The business in Mumbai city and Pune is a huge and far better than Delhi city comparatively and it is normally that Delhi city leads for patriotic films.
By the end of the first week, the film had completed the business of ₹71.23 crores and ₹62.76 crores after the second week.
Third Friday witnessed a collection of ₹4.50 crores and the national holiday added ₹9.75 crores to its account. With the total of ₹9 crores on its third Sunday, the film earned ₹157.25 crores net till date.
