The first look of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s biopic launched on Monday and it features Vivekanand Oberoi in and as PM Narendra Modi. The poster is launched in 23 languages by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis.
The film is directed by Omung Kumar who also made biopics like ‘Mary Kom’ and ‘Sarbjit’. The project will be bankrolled by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh.
The tagline of the poster reads, “देशभक्ति ही मेरी शक्ति है.” (Patriotism is my strength)

The actor also tweeted the first look and wrote, “We humbly ask for your prayers and blessings on this incredible journey.”

The film will be shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, among other parts of the country.
The film explores the journey of the current Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, from a tea seller to one of the most popular PMs in the world. The film is expected to reach cinemas before the 2019 general elections.
Omung Kumar entered the film industry as an art director for the film ‘Dil Hai Tumhara’ with the director Kundan Shah in 2002. He was the art director of 13 movies from 2002 till 2008. He was working on the story, script, and screenplay since last one and a half year. He even got the permission from the authorities for the film
‘Mary Kom’ was the directorial debut of Kumar and he received the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and the film was nominated for the Filmfare best film award.
Oberoi was last seen in Tamil film ‘Vivegam’ in 2017 and he is currently busy with a Malayalam film ‘Lucifer’, a Telugu film ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ and a Kannada film ‘Rustom’. The teaser of the first one and trailer of the second is out.
