HMD Global is planning to launch the new Nokia feature phones and smartphones soon at the market. The feature phone will be the most affordable phone to be released by HMD Global. The phone has appeared at TENAA with key specifications.
The Nokia feature phone model number TA-1278 which is listed at TENAA shows that it has a 2.4-inch TFT display with support for 240×320 pixels resolution. It has a 1,150 mAh battery with 64MB RAM and 128MB storage capacity that can be expanded up to 32GB by a microSD card. The CPU will be clocked at 1GHz and it will come in two colour variants – black and turquoise. Other features include Bluetooth, GSM, FM radio, a USB cable and support for 4G LTE. According to the images released by TENAA, the phone doesn’t have a camera.
HMD Global has stated that three Nokia feature phones are at the production stage. Apart from Nokia 215 2020, Nokia 225 is also on the way that will support 5G. The 4G feature phone will support YouTube and Facebook and the third Nokia phone is being manufactured under the name Nokia Leo Basic which will support Facebook and WhatsApp. Rumours also state that it will come with a dedicated Google Assistant button. On terms of software, the phones would run on KaiOS.
