Xiaomi sold over 1 crore Mi Power Banks according to a tweet by the company on 3rd November. Xiaomi started assembling power banks in India in the year 2017. All the units have been produced locally in India. After three years, Xiaomi announced that they have overcome the the 1crore-unit mark in terms of sales. The news came a day after Xiaomi announced the launch of the most compact Mi Power Bank in India.

Xiaomi tweeted through the Mi India Twitter account that they have sold around 1 crore Mi Power Banks which are made in India. The website of the company has five different power banks for sale. The lineup consists of Mi power Bank 3i 20,000 mAh with Mi Power Bank 3i 10,000 mAh, Mi Wireless Power Bank 10,000 mAh, Redmi power Bank 20,000 mAh and Reedmi Power Bank 10,000 mAh.

The company will also launch a new Mi Power Bank on 5th November. The microsite has described it as the “hidden powerhouse” of Xiaomi hinting at the small form factor and to fit in the pocket. It is also termed as the “most powerful” model in the range. No detailed information have been officially announced about the upcoming Mi Power Bank.

A few sources say that the upcoming power bank might be the Mi Power Bank 3 Ultra Compact model which was claimed to be launched first at Europe. Since the announcement about the upcoming power bank was made through Mi India Twitter account, its possible that the upcoming compact power bank might make its debut in India.

The new Power Bank of Mi might support charging from Micro-USB and USB Type-C ports and offer power output through two inbuilt USB Type-A and USB Type-C port. It might
