Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday ordered demolition of ‘Praja Vedika’ building which was built by Chandrababu Naidu. The Demolition of the building to begin the day after tomorrow.

Earlier on Friday, Andhra Pradesh Government announced that it will organize a mega collectors’ conference at Praja Vedika. The State Government had earlier said that it will host the conference at State Secretariat, however, on Friday, it changed the plan.

Praja Vedika which located next to Chandrababu Naidu‘s residence and was constructed Naidu himself when his party was in power in the state. Vedika was used by Chandrababu Naidu for both governments and party activities.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President and Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had on June on 5 written a letter to Reddy. In a letter, Naidu urged the Chief Minister to allocate the building in the capacity of the Leader of Opposition.

YSRCP Lawmaker Alla Ramakrishna Reddy had earlier claimed that the government would not give the building to TDP Boss Naidu and he will be evicted.

Both the bigwigs of the Telugu State had a bitter spat during the campaigning phase of the elections.

TDP in the polls suffered a huge defeat in Andhra Pradesh and only manage to win 23 Assembly seats in 175-member assembly. While in national polls, TDP could only manage to win 3 Seats while YSRCP bag 22 Lok Sabha Seats out of 25 seats in the state.
