A coach of Jammu Tawi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express derailed at 6 am at the New Delhi Railway Station on Thursday.

According to the Northern Railway Spokesperson, the incident took place at 6 am when the train was entering the platform at the New Delhi railway Station. No causalities are reported said the spokesperson.

The last coach of the train which is the guard coach derailed from the tracks just as the train entered the New Delhi Railway Station at 6 am.

This is the fourth incident that has happened in a week’s time. The previous three derailments took place on 7 Sep. On 7 Sep at 6:25 am seven coaches of the Jabalpur-bound Shaktipunj Express derailed near the Obra Dam station in Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra district. The second incident on the same day occurred just hours after at 11:45 am when the Ranchi-Delhi Rajdhani Express derailed near Minto bridge in Delhi.

The third mishap was at 3:55 pm when another derailment of goods train in Maharashtra’s Khandala took place. Meanwhile, the fourth tragedy was thankfully averted when few people spotted a fracture in a track between Farrukhabad and Fatehgarh in Uttar Pradesh, minutes before the Kalindi Express was scheduled to pass the place.
