Gearing for the Lok Sabha and State Polls, the Bhartiya Janta Party on Sunday announced 6 candidates in its second list for Arunachal Pradesh. The Party also released its first list of 12 candidates for Sikkim State Polls.

The Central Election Committee has decided following names for State Polls of:

Sikkim

  1. Bhanu Bhakta Sharma from Gyalshing Barnyak
  2. Sancho Lepcha from Rinchenpong
  3. RT Lepcha from Daramding
  4. Bhola Chauhan from Melli
  5. SB Kharki from Khandong-Singtam
  6. Birendra Poudyali from West Pendam
  7. Bharat Dulal from Rehnock
  8. Mohan Gurung from Chujachen
  9. Devi Basnett from Namcheybung
  10. Jidal Bhutia from Martam-Rumtek
  11. DB Chauhan from Arithang
  12. YT Lepcha from Gangtok

Arunachal Pradesh

  1. Tenzin Norbu Thongdok from Kalaktang
  2. Kripa Babu from Itanagar
  3. Tana Hali Tara from Doimuk
  4. Bamang Felix from Nyapin
  5. Thaji Gichack Kiogi from Tali
  6. Anong Perme from Mariyang Geku

Earlier the party has announced the candidates on 123 seats in the 175-member of Andhra Pradesh Assembly and on 54 seats in the 60-member Arunachal Pradesh Assembly. In Arunachal Pradesh, the party has named Chief Minister Pema Khandu from Mukto constituency in the state Polls that will be clubbed with the General Elections 2019. Apart from the Chief Minister, the party has now total declared Candidates on 60 Seats for the state polls.

Sikkim has a total of 32 Seats in State Polls. Sikkim will go to polls on April 11 for a lone Parliamentary seat and all State Assembly seat.

Arunachal Pradesh will vote in a single phase on all 2 Lok Sabha Seats and 60 State Assembly seats on April 11.

General Elections are slated for April-May this year that would spread on Seven Phases starting from April 11 to May 19. Election Commission had on Sunday declared schedule for General Elections 2019.

The Counting of votes for the mega battle of ballots will take place on May 23, four days after last round of polling.
