The High-Voltage Electioneering that witnesses massive rallies, the war of words, roadshows for the first phase of general election concluded on Tuesday. Last Day saw Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi holding two roadshows in UP West’s Saharanpur and Bijnor. While Bharatiya Janata Party Staunch Leader Nitin Gadkari also held a roadshow in his parliamentary seat of Nagpur.

91 Constituencies of 20 State and Union Territories will go to polls in the first round of voting that is slated for April 11, Thursday.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also addressed a massive rally in Meerut, which will vote in the first phase of Voting.

20 State that will go to polls include: 25 Seats of Andhra Pradesh, 2 Seats of Arunachal Pradesh, 5 Lok Sabha Seats of Assam, 4 Seats from Bihar, Single Seat from Chhattisgarh, 2 Seats from Jammu and Kashmir, Seven Seats from Maharashtra, one Seat from Manipur, two from Meghalaya, One each from Mizoram and Nagaland.

The other States that will go to polls on First Phase includes – Four Seats of Odisha, lone seat from Sikkim and Tripura, 17 seats of Telangana, 8 seats from UP, five seats from Uttarakhand, 2 from West Bengal, and one each from Andaman & Nicobar and Lakshadweep.

 A look at the Constituencies going to polls on Phase-I 

1. Andhra Pradesh: All 25 Seats of Andhra Pradesh will vote in a single round of voting. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Amalapuram, Anakapalle, Anantapur, Araku, Bapatla, Chittoor, Eluru, Guntur, Hindupur, Kadapa, Kakinada, Kurnool, Machilipatnam, Nandyal, Narasaraopet, Narsapuram, Nellore, Ongole, Rajahmundry, Rajampet, Srikakulam, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, and Vizianagaram.

There is a total of 548 candidates who have filed their nominations for 25 Lok Sabha seats of the state. The Major Political Parties in the state – Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party who has forged an alliance with BSP, YSR Congress, TDP, Congress and BJP.

General Elections in the state is slated to be clubbed with State Assembly Polls.

2. Arunachal Pradesh: Both Seats of the will vote in a single round of voting. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Arunachal Pradesh West and Arunachal Pradesh East. There is a total of 12 candidates have filed their nominations for 2 Lok Sabha seats of the state. Apart from BJP and Congress, NPP, JD(S) and All India Forward Bloc is also contesting the mega Polls.

General Elections in the state is slated to be clubbed with State Assembly Polls.

3. Assam: Out of the total 14 seats of the state, 5 Seats will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Tezpur, Kalibor, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Lakhimpur. There is a total of 41 candidates who have filed their nominations for 4 Lok Sabha seats of the state. Apart from BJP and Congress, AGP, Democratic Front, Bodoland Party is also contesting the mega Polls.

3. Bihar: Out of the total 40 seats of the state, 4 Seats will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada, Jamui. There is a total of 60 candidates who have filed their nominations for 4 Lok Sabha seats of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress-led UPA, and BJP-led NDA.

4. Chhattisgarh: Out of the total 12 seats of the state, only one Seat will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling is Bastar. There is a total of 7 candidates who have filed their nominations for Bastar Lok Sabha seats of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress, BJP and BSP.

5. Jammu and Kashmir: Out of the total 6 seats of the state, 2 Seat will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Baramulla and Jammu. There is a total of 34 candidates who have filed their nominations for 2 Lok Sabha seats of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress who inked a tie-up with National Conference, PDP, and BJP.

6. Maharashtra: Out of the total 48 seats of the state, 7 Seats will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Wardha, Ramtek, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondiya, Gadchiroli-Chimur, Chandrapur, Yavatmal-Washim. There is a total of 147 candidates who have filed their nominations for 7 Lok Sabha seats of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress-NCP combine with BJP-Shiva Sena Alliance.

7. Manipur: Out of the total 2 seats of the state, one Seat will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Outer Manipur. There is a total of 8 candidates who have filed their nominations for one Lok Sabha seat of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress, BJP, NPP, JD(U) and others.

8. Meghalaya: Both the seats of state will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Shillong and Tura. There is a total of 19 candidates who have filed their nominations for both the Lok Sabha seats of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress, BJP, NPP.

9. Mizoram: Both the seats of state will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Shillong and Tura. There is a total of 19 candidates who have filed their nominations for both Lok Sabha seats of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress, BJP, NPP.

10. Nagaland: Nagaland lone seat will go to polls on First Phase of voting. There is a total of 4 candidates who have filed their nominations for lone Lok Sabha seats of the state.

11. Odisha: Out of the total 21 seats of the state, 4 Seats will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur, Koraput. There is a total of 40 candidates who have filed their nominations for 4 Lok Sabha seats of the state. The fight in the state is between BJD, Congress, and BJP.

12. Sikkim: Lone seat will go to polls on First Phase of voting. There is a total of 4 candidates who have filed their nominations for lone Lok Sabha seats of the state.

13. Telangana: All 17 Seats of Telangana will vote in a single round of voting. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Adilabad, Peddapalle, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Zahirabad, Medak, Malkagiri, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Chevelle, Mahbubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Bhongir, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam.

There is a total of 185 candidates who have filed their nominations for 17 Lok Sabha seats of the state. The Major Political Parties in the state – TRS, BJP, AIMIM, and Congress.

14. Tripura: 13 candidates are contesting in 1 constituency. Main parties are BJP, Congress, CPM, and TMC. For phase 1 Lok Sabha election on April 11.

16. Uttar Pradesh: Out of the total 80 seats of the state, 8 Seats will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar. There is a total of 96 candidates who have filed their nominations for 8 Lok Sabha seat of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress, BJP, and Grand Alliance comprising Samajwadi party, BSP and RLD.

17. Uttarakhand: All 5 Seats will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Tehri Garhwal, Garhwal, Almora, Nainital-Udhamsingh Nagar, Haridwar. There is a total of 52 candidates who have filed their nominations for 8 Lok Sabha seat of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress and BJP.

18. West Bengal: Out of the total 42 seats of the state, 2 Seats will go to polls on First Phase of Polling on April 11. The Parliamentary Seats going for polling include Coochbehar and Alipurduar. There is a total of 18 candidates who have filed their nominations for 2 Lok Sabha seat of the state. The fight in the state is between Congress, BJP, TMC and Left Front.

19. Andaman and Nicobar: Lone seat will go to polls on First Phase of voting. There is a total of 15 candidates who have filed their nominations for lone Lok Sabha seats of the state. Main parties are Congress NCP and BJP.

20. Lakshadweep: Lone seat will go to polls on First Phase of voting. There is a total of 6 candidates who have filed their nominations for lone Lok Sabha seats of the state. Main parties are Congress NCP and BJP.
