Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy‘s new cabinet comprising 25 ministers took oath on Saturday.

Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers including three women at an official ceremony held at the State Secretariat at Velagapudi.

Lawmakers inducted in the cabinet include:

  5. Kurasala Kanna Babu
  6. Pilli Subash Chandra Bose
  7. Pinipe Viswarup
  8. Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas
  9. Cherukuwada Sri Ranganatha Raju
  10. Taneti Vanitha
  11. Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao
  12. Perni Venkataramaiah
  13. Vellampalli Srinivas Rao
  14. Mekapati Sucharita
  15. Mopidevi Venkataramana
  16. Balineni Srinivasa Reddy
  17. Adimulapu Suresh
  18. Anil Kumar
  19. Mekapati Goutham Reddy
  20. Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy
  21. Kalattur Narayana Swamy
  22. Buggana Rajendranath
  23. Gummanur Jayaram

The portfolios for the cabinet members are expected to be allotted in a few days. The names of deputy chief ministers are expected to be announced later in the day.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy assumed charge of his office at State Secretariat almost 8 days after taking oath as Chief Minister.

I humbly thank you and wish for your continued support to us’ said YS Jagan Mohan Reddy earlier in a tweet.

Jagan Mohan Reddy held a meeting of the YSR Congress Legislature Party on Friday where he announced the decision to appoint five deputy Chief Ministers – one each from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Castes, Minority, and Kapu community.

YSRCP Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy on May 30 took oath as Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh can have a maximum of 26 ministers in its State Cabinet which is 15% of the State Assembly strength.

Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP in recently held polls registered a landslide victory in both assembly and national polls in the state. YRSCP won 151 assembly seats out of the 175 assembly seat in the state and unseat Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP Government.

While in national polls, YSRCP bag 22 Lok Sabha Seats out of 25 seats in the state.
