To tackle down the menace of air pollution, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi organized a meeting of Delhi Congress leaders on Tuesday. The leader asked her party members to launch a mass awareness campaign against pollution in the national capital.

The meeting also saw the participation of eminent party leaders such as Delhi Congress president Subhash Chopra, PC Chacko, National general secretary KC Venugopal and treasurer Ahmed Patel.

The leaders were advised to carry out a public awareness campaign to combat pollution boosting public awareness about air pollution. The campaign will be carried out to increase the emotional connect of the people with the party too.

As quoted by ANI, Priyanka Gandhi said, “We have to fight the problem of pollution. Instead of pointing fingers at others, we should think about what can we do?”

It is also expected that the grand old party’s Delhi unit will soon distribute anti-pollution masks. The underprivileged sections of the society such as rickshaw pullers and auto drivers will also be getting the benefit of medical check-ups at the camp.

According to the sources, Priyanka Gandhi also lashed out at the ineffectiveness of the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal‘s Odd-Even scheme.

The leader also posted various tweeted messages to convey her feelings about the air-pollution. In one message, where She reminded everyone of the disastrous London Smog of 1952, while in the other message, she called on people to unite against combating the pollution.
