Akhilesh Yadav Shivpal

Samajwadi party leader Shivpal Yadav has once again demanded resignation of Akhilesh Yadav from the post of party president. He has stated that Akhilesh Yadav should take the responsibility of Samajwadi Party’s defeat in recently concluded assembly elections and on moral grounds, should resign from the post. This statement has come for the second time in less than a week.

Shivpal Yadav was addressing reporters at Daak Bangla in Fatehpur on Sunday. He further added that Akhilesh Yadav had asked for a 3 months term as SP chief and those 3 months are now over. He should give back the SP chief’s post to Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav). Shivpal also mentioned that while Akhilesh was the chief minister, SP had experienced one of the worst defeats, both in assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections.

He also said that after taking the command of SP, Akhilesh could not live upto the expectations and suffered huge loss because of his immature decisions in assembly elections. He should step down so that everyone can sit together to unite the party and the family once again.

Earlier on April 18th, Shivpal Yadav had said that the campaign under Akhilesh Yadav failed because he did not listen to anyone. Also that Shivpal Yadav will soon start a campaign to unite Samajwadis (Socialists), to regain the lost ground and to stop BJP.

In January, a meeting of executives was called by Ram Gopal Yadav, whee Akhilesh was elected as the SP chief.
