The outstanding knock by Heinrich Klaasen made South Africa (SA) win the match against Australia (AUS).

Australia is on a tour of South Africa, which consists of three T-20I and five ODI matches.

The Aussies won the T-20I series by 3-0 and were leading the ODI series.

The great knock by Heinrich made South Africa equalize the series.

Whoever wins the fifth ODI will win the series as well.

Match Details

The fourth ODI was played on September 15th at the Supersport Park in Centurion.

Australia won the toss and was elected to the field first.

South African Innings

Quinton de Kock and Reeza Hendricks opened the innings for SA.

They both gave a good and stable start to their team and were adding good runs.

Nathan Ellis gave the first breakthrough to South Africa as he bowled Reeza.

Rassie van der Dussen came in to bat as he and Quinton took the innings forward.

Rassie soon completed his half-century, as SA also got two more breakthroughs.

Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller started to handle the situation.

Heinrich was playing shots all over the ground as soon as he completed his half-century, followed by his century.

David was also supporting him as he completed his half-century.

Going on, Heinrich completed his 150-run milestone and kept on going.

The outstanding knock of 174 runs by him and the knock of 82 runs by David took SA to a total of 416/5.

Australia Innings

David Warner and Travis Head opened the innings for Australia.

Lungi Ngidi didn’t let them settle, as he took the wicket of David.

After taking the wicket of David in the next over, he took the wicket of Mitchell Marsh as well.

Marnus Labuschagne in between stood strong from one end and kept the momentum going.

The knock of 99 runs kept the Aussies in the game as the SA bowlers took all their wickets.

Lungi Ngidi took four major wickets, and Kagiso Rabada took three wickets, limiting the Aussies.

South Africa won the match by a big margin of 164 runs.
