The Miyan Magic made India win the finals of the Asia Cup.

The name Miyan Magic was given to Mohammad Siraj by the Indian team.

The Indian team registered the biggest win in the finals of the Asia Cup, as they won the cup for the eighth time.

After the group’s stages and the Super Four stages, the Asia Cup finally got its finalists.

Sri Lanka, after beating Pakistan, made their spot in the finals of the Asia Cup.

Match Details

The final of the Asia Cup was played on September 17th in Colombo.

Sri Lanka made it to their second consecutive final and will be looking to win the final.

If Sri Lanka wins the trophy, then they will equalize India in several Asia Cup trophies.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first.

Sri Lanka Innings

Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera opened the innings for Sri Lanka.

Jasprit Bumrah, the main bowler of the Indian team, who was making a comeback, showcased his skills.

He took the wicket of Kusal on the third delivery of the innings itself.

Mohammad Siraj came in to bowl the next over as he bowled a maiden over.

He was swinging the bowl well, and Sri Lankan batsmen weren’t able to face him.

In his next over, on the first ball, Siraj took the wicket of Pathum.

After that, he took three more wickets in the same over.

With four wickets in a single over, half of the Sri Lankan batsmen were sent back to Pavilion.

In his next two overs, he took two more wickets as Sri Lanka lost seven wickets to a score of just 39 runs.

Hardik Pandya came into the bowl as he also didn’t stay behind and took the wicket of Dunith.

In his next over, Pandya took two back-to-back wickets as Sri Lanka lost all their wickets to a score of just 50 runs.

India Innings

After bowling out Sri Lanka for the lowest score in the finals, it was time for the batsmen to mark an easy win.

Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill opened the innings for India.

They started to play great shots and were hitting across the ground.

They both made India chase the easy total and win the final of the Asia Cup.

The final was named for Mohammad Siraj for his bowling figure of 6/21.
