India leads the group table after defeating the Netherlands

India faced the Netherlands in the World Cup on October 27th in Sydney.

After defeating Pakistan in a thrilling match India started the journey with a win.

India won the toss and elected to bat first to showcase a great batting line-up.

India chose to bat first as they got the depth in the batting line-up.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma opened the innings for India.

KL lost his wicket in the first few overs itself.

Rohit and Virat taking the innings further played beautiful shots.

The Netherlands dropped a catch of Rohit twice in the innings as he also completed his half-century.

After dropping two catches Netherlands finally took the wicket of Rohit.

Virat got back in form as he was playing an important and marvelous inning.

Surya Kumar on the other hand playing fire shots all over the ground.

Virat completed his half-century as he and SuryaKumar kept on going.

In the last ball on the innings, SKY hit a mesmerizing six to end the innings and reach his half-century.

With their knocks, India reached a total of 179/2.

Now it was time for the bowlers to hold back the batsman of the Netherlands.

Vikramjit Singh and Max O’Dowd opened the innings for the Netherlands.

As their innings started Bhuvenshwar struck in the third over itself.

Bhuvi bowled Vikramjit and gave NED their first breakthrough.

Axar came in the fifth over and bowled Max as the bowlers sent back both openers.

Since then there were recent breakthroughs given to the NED team.

Ashwin comes into the attack and took two wickets in a single over pushing back the NED team.

After Ashwin, Arshdeep did the same in the eighteenth over.

Arshdeep sending back Logan and Fred in two back-to-back deliveries.

With the outstanding bowling performance by Indian bowlers, they stopped NED at a score of 123/9.

Bhuvi, Arshdeep, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Ashwin took two wickets each.

India won the match by a huge margin of 56 runs.

Surya Kumar was elected as the Player of the Match for his outstanding batting performance.

With this win, India stands first in the group stage.
