First Innings

Brandon Kings and Kyle Mayers opened for WI.

They both gave an outstanding start to the WI team, as there were even great shots that were seen by both of them.

Kyle’s hitting of massive sixes and fours made it feel like the WI team would build up a great total.

The WI team made a total of 45 runs in the powerplay for the loss of no wickets.

Hardik didn’t let the partnership grow more as he bowled Brandon.

Despite the wicket loss, Kyle kept on going as he completed his half-century.

The 86-run partnership by both of them brought IND closer to victory than when Akeal Hosein took the wicket of Iyer.

SKY’s knock of 76 runs almost carried their team to victory, but he wasn’t able to convert his knock into victory as Dominic Drake took his wicket.

In the end, the batsmen did their job as they achieved the total, and IND won the match by seven wickets.
