BANGALORE: After losing another match of the 12th season, RCB leg break bowler Yuzvendra Chahal still believes that RCB can qualify for the playoffs, It must be hard for them as they already lost 7 from their 8 matches.
They are now sitting at the bottom of the table and also have the poor Net Run Rate of – 1.14. It will be hard for them to qualify as the top teams Apart from CSK have won at least 4 matches. So their Qualification chances will totally depend upon, how other teams will play.
Chahal said “if we win next six games, we can still qualify. Last year a team qualified with 14 points, so still, we are in the game because you never know what will happen next.”
On the other hand the skipper of RB, Virat Kohli said “We just have to enjoy ourselves, play the way we did in the last two games. Need to keep our composure under pressure. Need to take half-chances,”
It will be quite difficult for RCB to qualify as they have to win all the remaining matches with good margins which will improve their NRR. Moreover, their Qualification scenario will depend on the other teams also.
