The 13th edition of IPL will not feature the commentary of Sanjay Manjrekar as he has not been added into the list of commentators which has been declared by BCCI.

It has been reported by the Mumbai Mirror that BCCI has finalised around 7 Indian commentators for the upcoming grand multi million dollar league and Manjrekar is unfortunately not one of them.

The list of 7 commentators included the names of Anjum Chopra, Sunil Gavaskar, Murali Kartik, Rohan Gavaskar, Harsha Bhogle and Deep Dasgupta.

All the 7 commentators are placed in different Emirates as Kartik and Dasgupta will stay in Abu Dhabi whereas other commentators will be on their way to Dubai and Sharjah.

Sharjah will host around 14 matches whereas Dubai and Abu Dhabi will host 21 matches each. The commentators will be held in two bubbles in Abu Dhabi and Dubai this is why they have been divided into three panels respectively.

As per the reports Dasgupta and Kartik were expected to take off today for Abu Dhabi but the local authorities have eventually relaxed the quarantine period from 14 to 7 days. This is the reason they will be flying on September 10 along with their other colleagues.

The Schedule of IPL is yet to be declared by BCCI is looking forward to announce it publicly today. As we already know the 53 day tournament will be played across three venues in UAE – Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
