PRO KABADDI: The first day of the auction went good for some of the young players. In an auction, 12 franchise faced each other to make the best squad for the tournament. Siddharth Desai banged the highest bid on day 1 with 1.45 crores

The first day of the auction has totally belonged to the star raider Siddharth Desai, who grabbed the second highest bid in the history of pro kabaddi league when the Telugu Titans purchased him on 1.45 crores. He grabbed that attention of the viewers in his debut season, where he Picked up 218 raid points in 21 matches. He became the second most expensive player to be bought in PKL history after Monu goyat, who banged the deal with Harayana stellers by claiming 1.51 crores.

There were a lot of twists and turns in the auction as some unexpected player got a good price and others went unsold. The poster boy of PRO kabaddi league, Rahul Chaudhari also grabbed 94 lakhs and this time he will be seen playing for Tamil Talaivas whereas Monu Goyat seized by UP Yodhas AT 93 lakhs.

Nitin Tomar who was the skipper of UP Yodhas last season impressed most of the Franchises. He was also sold at a healthy price of 1.20 crores. It was a very strange decision by UP Yodhas’ management as they didn’t retain him this year.
