Like every other IPL season, there is another twist in the tail as the Indian Premier League have released their anthem for this season and titled it as ‘Aayenge Hum Wapas’ which has been composed Pranav Ajayrao Malpe. On the other hand, it was the rapper from Delhi KR$NA who is also a music producer who signed up with the independent hip hop label kalamkaar came out on social media to reveal about the anthem produced by the IPL comparing it to his track which came out in 2017 ‘Dekh Kaun Aaya Wapas’. He was upset about using his content without his consent.

The rapper expresses that he deeply saddened and disappointed by the fact that such established and famous entities like Disney Hotstar and IPL have decided to plagiarize his song for their benefits without even addressing him. The rapper feels that there were no legal or authenticates checks to determine the originality of the song composed. He further believes that such wrong happenings should not take place as his legal team and management would like to take the next course of action so that nothing such is given an uplift in the coming future. He further added that it would be really difficult for the upcoming artists to bear such scams and frauds as he has strong management and legal team to fight the situation. He explains that this has been happening from the beginning as established companies plagiarize such arts from the artists and use them for their cause. The rapper wants to stand against this overlooking certain scenarios will have a large impact on the livelihood of certain artists. Further, he was happy to get support from his fans and other people who urged him to take a stand against the system.

The founder of kalamkaar states Ankit Khanna also shared his view on the situation and supported the rapper. He was quite disheartened looking at the prime plagiarized content and mentioned about how the issue is not taken seriously in the music industry. He further added that from now on they will claim and ensure the rights of their artists and will consider taking the legal way to deny any sort of copyright. He believes that the artists should be given all the credit in the world for their work and it is not just about the green paper but their rights need to protected rather than stolen and abused. Plagiarism from anywhere can create a lof disruption everywhere he added. He lastly concluded by talking about the talented artists who do not have any sort of legal assistance or any other strong management to support them as a result their content is also scammed and plagiarized. This activity would also affect the ranking of artists all over the country.

KR$NA is considered as the first Indian rapper to sign a major deal for a hip hop album in the late 2000s and is on the verge of releasing sophomore later during this year.
