Nokia 8 which turned out to be a successful predator in the Nokia flagship. The phone comes with a display of 5.3 inches IPS LCD QHD with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The phone contains a processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It contains a primary shooter of 13MP OIS + 13MP (Mono) dual rear Carl Zeiss cameras with dual-tone flash and a 13MP front shooter for selfies.

Juho Sarvikas, Chief product officer of the HMD Globals, made it clear on twitter saying “Be our guest as we serve AndroidOreo 8.1 beta for Nokia8. Updating your device today will enable a host of new features. And most importantly – the hamburger emoji fix with cheese now on top of the patty!”

The official Android 8.1 for Nokia 8 is around 1554.9 Mb in size. The new BETA update includes some Battery saving Navigation Buttons, Revamped power Menu, a whole lot of new emojis a really ravishing New UI and Settings Menu, now you can see the Bluetooth Battery Percentage too. With the update itself, you get the Google security patch 2018-01.

Steps to update to Android Oreo Beta –

  • Go to this link and then sign in via your Google or Facebook account.
  • Now you need to verify your phones IMEI and Operator’s name and then register yourself to Beta Labs.
  • After entering IMEI and Operator’s name once, your phone gets validated if Android Oreo Beta is available for your phone.
  • Following this a pop up will come to back up your data will come, proceed to the bottom of the page and check “I have read the instructions and ensured my phone has the latest general release software installed”.
  • Proceed to the last step ” request OTA”
  • Consequently, go to your phone’s Check for updates menu by Settings—>System–>About Phone–System update–>Check for update.
  • Download and enjoy the Beta version!
