Leagoo, a new smartphone brand launches a new premium mid-tier smartphone in the united states. The Leagoo T5C  is priced at $129.9 (₹7,500) and offers a lot of features which are not seen at this price point. To begin with the build-quality, the company offers the best metal at this price tag. In terms of design, there are many new elements which give its own identity in the crowded market.

Let’s look at the actual tech specifications for the further understanding. The smartphone offers a new 18:9 aspect ratio display, which is in line with the today’s smartphone industry norms. The display offers 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD panel from Sharp with wide viewing angles and a niche´viewing angles. The smartphone is powered by a new Spredtrum octa-core SoC, manufactured based on 14 nm FinFET technology, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB RAM with an additional SD card slot (up to 128 GB).

Moving forward, with respect to camera capability, this smartphone is from another dimension. The phone offers a dual rear-camera setup on the back with a 13 MP RGB wide angle lens and a 2 MP depth sensing sensor with features like portrait mode and 1080p video recording capability. For the selfie camera, the phone uses a standard 8 MP fixed focus shooter for the crisper selfies.

With respect to connectivity, the smartphone does offer Cat 6 LTE connectivity (single SIM slot) with support for 4G LTE and VoLte with support for dual-channel WiFi, WiFi Hotspot and Bluetooth 4.2 out of the box. So, there will be no connectivity issues what so ever.

The smartphone runs on the custom version of an Android operating system based on Android Nougat 7.0 with a promised update to Oreo in the near future. The rear-mounted fingerprint scanner can unlock the smartphone in just 0.1 seconds and works like a charm for taking selfies and also acts as the camera shutter button. Finally, the device offers a 3000 mAh sealed battery with fast charging capability, which can last up to a complete working day without any refill.
