As of now, there is no part of Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 that needs to be known. However, the only thing that is yet to be unveiled is the pricing of the Xiaomi’s true flagship, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. The device will be available exclusively on Flipkart and Mi.com for the first few sales, later on, the device will be made available in Mi Home, and Mi Preferred partners as well. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is one of a kind smartphone with 3 sided bezel-less design as well as a 5.99-inch FHD+ display fitted inside a form factor smaller than that of the normal smartphone with 5.5-inch screen size. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core SoC, paired with either 6 GB or 8 GB RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB onboard flash storage without any dedicated micro SD card slot.
In terms of design, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 offers an all-ceramic unibody design with a curved 2.5D glass on the front. The front-facing selfie camera will be located on the right bottom corner of the chin and the rear facing 12 MP camera with 4 axial image stabilisation and 4k video recording capability along with 1080p video recording capability up to 120 frames per second.
The device also offers dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE and VoLte capability, in fact, this is the first Xiaomi Mi smartphone that supports 4G bands all around the world, so, travelling with this piece of tech will always be satisfactory. In terms of operating system, the device runs on Android Nogaut 7.1 with a custom version of MIUI version 9 on the top.
However, at the price tag that the device is being offered (around 30,000), the device is the missing lot of features like, water resistance rating, dual-camera setup, wireless charging, which might disappoint someone who expects all the standard flagship smartphone features from a 2017 smartphone.
