Nowadays, almost every major OME are into the smart speakers with a dedicated artificial intelligence. Here is the complete rundown of the specifications for the Sony Xperia Hello. The form factor also looks kinda cool.

The communication robot is priced at JPY 150,000 or INR 86,000 Indian rupees. The device offers a 4.6-inch IPS LCD panel with touch input, with a top mounted camera, which happens to offer a huge step over the normal smart speakers like Google Home, Amazon Echo, and Apple HomePod. The Xperia Hello also has a 4 sensor and 7 microphones, which helps to detect the objects that are near the robot which saves it from crashing. Sony touts that, this robot will be a family member, which offers an immense level of applications.

One can use the commends like “show me what my family is up to” then the robot will come up with the last time when it directed your children faces. “show me what you see” command will make the robot acts like the security camera and shows the nearby objects. Other than these functions, the robot can also perform standard smart speaker features like checking the weather, traffic, and other basic internet searches. The smart robot can also be specifically designed for the individual person, depending on the preferences of the main admin.

However, as of now, there is no information regarding the artificial agent that is powering the device, which Sony has kept as a secret till date. However, considering the price tag of INR 86,000, the mass audiences will not be interested in the smart robot as well.

To conclude, this is one of kind smart robot and a nice effort from Sony to capture the smart robot market. So, what do you think about the Sony Xperia Hello? Share your views in the comments below.
