ZTE launches a new budget-oriented Android smartphone in China on 31st October 2017. The ZTE Blade A3 is priced at CNY 799 (INR 7,999) and offers some of the unique specifications that are seen in the premium smartphone segment.

ZTE has made no compromises when it comes to design and built quality. Following the latest trends, the device offers an all-metal unibody solution with different colour shades like Matt Blue and Matt Black. So, with respects to looks and aesthetics, the device offers best in class and looks classy from all the angles.

Coming to the tech specifications, the device offers a 5.5-inch 720p IPS LCD screen, protected by 2.5D Curved tempered glass on the top. Under the screen, the ZTE has incorporated a MediaTek MT6737T Octa-core SoC, paired with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB onboard flash storage with a dedicated micro SD card (up to 128 GB). Unlike many entry-level smartphones, this is one of the few devices which offers dual SIM card slots with a dedicated micro SD card slot.

The camera department is the USP, which offers dual selfie camera with a 5 MP and a 2 MP selfie camera with a 13 MP rear-facing camera with PDAF and 1080p video recording capability. So, at least on the paper these cameras look impressing. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the device, which unlocks the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds.

Finally, in terms of operating system, the device offers Android Nougat 7.1 with custom MiFavor 4.2 UI on the top. The 4000 mAh Li-ion battery will last for two continues days on a single charge, however, the phone doesn’t support fast charging capability.

The device will be available in China from 6th November and there is no information on the global availability. So, whats your view on this ZTE Blade A3? Share your views in the comments below.
