The French government has urged to the United States President Donald Trump on Sunday, to not to interfere in-between the French politics amid “yellow vest” riots in Paris. The French government’s reaction to Trump was based on Trump’s tweets over the Paris climate agreement.

According to news reports, Jean-Yves Le Drian said, “We do not take domestic American politics into account and we want that to be reciprocated.”

“I say this to Donald Trump and the French president says it too: leave our nation be,” said Drian.

In a tweet, Trump has on Saturday, tweeted with giving reference to the “yellow vest” protesters or anti-government protests, which has sparked the rioting in Paris and has burned France since mid-November.

Pointing Paris agreement, in a tweet, Trump wrote: “Very sad day & night in Paris. Maybe it’s time to end the ridiculous and extremely expensive Paris Agreement and return money back to the people in the form of lower taxes?”

He further wrote: “The U.S. was way ahead of the curve on that and the only major country where emissions went down last year!”

Earlier too, Trump had tweeted regarding the Paris agreement. He tweeted: “The Paris Agreement isn’t working out so well for Paris. Protests and riots all over France,” adding, “People do not want to pay large sums of money, much to third world countries (that are questionably run), in order to maybe protect the environment. Chanting ‘We Want Trump!’ Love France.”

To the concern of French President Emmanuel Macron and few other western leaders, Trump has been abandoned and stated that the protest on going in France is not related to the Paris climate agreement, signed in the year 2015.

The “yellow vest” protest is the result of hike in fuel tax imposed by Macron and its government policies. Other French politicians with Macron’s party lawmakers has rebuke angrily to Trump’s latest tweets.
