The March of Great Return which began as a nonviolent protest every Friday, has quickly progressed to an all-out war which results in hundreds of casualties every day at the Gaza Strip; where thousands of Palestinians are fighting for their lives at the Gaza-Israel border.
As the Palestinian men fight against the Israeli soldiers backed up with fences and weapons and smoke grenades, the women of Palestine take their stand in the matter as well. Among the thousands fighting each day, the front lines are proudly led by the women of Gaza as they shield their men with as many weapons as they have.
The notion that the Israeli soldiers would hesitate to fire on the women in the frontiers were quickly rectified as over hundreds of women became victims to bullets and tear gases even in the early days of the March. With the steady decline of ammunition among the Palestinians, the protesters have now resorted to flinging stones over the border fence into Israeli territory. As an act of desperation, the men have even resorted to embedding incendiary devices into paper kites which are intended to start fires within the ranks of the Israeli soldiers once they fly over the border. Despite the fact that the government of Israel has repeatedly warned the Palestinians to not use this method lest they want to invoke the wrath of Israel, the number of flaming kites in the skies of Israel continue to increase.
As the days pass and the protests heighten, the climax of the March of Great Return is expected to happen on the 15th of May, where the grounds will be divided once and for all.
