Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday, said the United States could never be able to stop export of Iran’s oil to others and if any move will be taken to prevent crude to be shipped by Iranian shipments to all oil exports, which passes through the Gulf, would lead to the blockage of the waterway resulting in no oil export.

While delivering a speech during his trip to Shahroud- a northern Iranian city, Rouhani said, “America should know that we are selling our oil and will continue to sell our oil and they are not able to stop our oil export.”

He added saying, “If one day they want to prevent the export of Iran’s oil, then no oil will be exported from the Persian Gulf.”

Recently, the US has imposed sanction over Iran on the matter of exporting of crude, with US officials saying that they are aiming to reduce Iran’s oil export to other countries to “zero”, in a bid to impose restriction over the Islamic Republic’s missile programs and other influences.

After the US President Donald Trump withdrew his decision to attend multilateral nuclear deal in the month of May and also reimposed sanction over Islamic Republic, the tension between the two countries- US and Iran, has risen up.

Roughani claimed efforts made by US would not affect Iran’s ties with other countries and neighbours, asserting that US could never be successful in cutting ties of Iran’s economic with others.

Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said, “When Americans say their target is the Iranian government and there won’t be pressure on the sick, the elderly and the weak in society, it’s a lie.”
