Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2

The Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer Asus has announced OMG! Days where the company will be offering various deal and discounts as a part of the celebration of more than two million units of smartphones sold in 2018. The company has said that it will be unveiling exciting deals every day and as a part of the strategy, the company has revealed the prices on its Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone Max Pro M2, Zenfone 5Z, and Zenfone Lite L1. The sale will be held from February 6 to February 9.

During the sale, the Zenfone Max Pro M1, which was introduced last year as Flipkart exclusive, will be available for a price tag of ₹8,499. This is the lowest price yet on the smartphone. This price comes to the Zenfone Max Pro M1 after it recently received a permanent price cut of ₹1000 and during the sale, the device is getting an additional discount of ₹1500. The base 3GB RAM variant of the device will be available for ₹8,499, while the 4GB and the 6GB variant will be available for ₹10,999 and ₹12,999 respectively.

In terms of specifications, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, Snapdragon 636 SoC, 3GB or 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal storage. The 3GB and 4GB RAM variant come with a 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, while the 6GB variant comes with a 16-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the 3GB and the 4GB variants get an 8-megapixel selfie shooter, on the other hand, the 6GB variant of the device sports a 16-megapixel front camera.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is fueled by 5000mAh battery.

The Asus Zenfone Lite will also be subjected to discounts during the OMG! Days. The device will get a ₹2000 discount and will be available for ₹4,999 during the sale. In terms of hardware, the Zenfone Lite L1 competes with the Redmi 6A.

The device features a 5.5-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 425 chipset, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. In terms of camera, the smartphone offers a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel front camera. The device runs on Android Oreo (Go edition) and is backed up by 3000mAh battery.

Asus, so far, has revealed the discounts on its Zenfone Max Pro M1 and the Zenfone Lite L1. Nevertheless, the company is also expected to offer discount prices on Zenfone Max Pro M2, Zenfone 5Z, and Zenfone Max M2. During the Asus Days Sale held earlier, the Zenfone 5Z was available for a price tag of ₹24,999 and it could be expected to see the same price range during the Asus OMG! Days.

The Zenfone 5Z sports a glass sandwich design with a 6.2-inch IPS Full HD+ display. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6GB and 8GB of RAM, according to the variant.

In terms of optics, the phone houses dual cameras setup at the back with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the camera has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The Zenfone 5Z is backed up by 3330 mAh battery with Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 3.0 support.
