2021 Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible
There is nothing new about the Speed variant. Even the older generation Continental GT used to come with the same name. Currently, it is the third-generation Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible that has been revealed. And, this time the performance of the Gran Tourer is worth mentioning.
Firstly, it comes powered by a 6.0-litre W12 TSI engine. On top of that, this engine is now tuned in such a way that it churns out a massive 650BHP of power and 900Nm of torque. According to the carmaker both – the engine and transmission have been reworked for such massive power figures. Performance-wise, the updated Continental GT Convertible can do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.7 seconds. Meanwhile, the top speed from the same stands at 335kmph.
In terms of design, it looks absolutely phenomenal just like the regular variant. However, to differentiate the convertible Grand Tourer comes with a Dark Tint radiator grille, ‘Speed’ specific sports sills and similar badging on the front fenders just to name a few. Also, the convertible roof of the Speed trim is reworked and can be deployed in just 19 seconds within the speed of 50kmph. Apart from this, the Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible also comes with unique 22-inch alloy wheels. To be precise, these alloy wheels are available with multiple colour schemes to choose from.
Inside the cabin, the all-new luxury Grand Tourer gets that pinch of a sportscar. Just like any other performance-oriented car, it comes with an interior that is finished in Alcantara. To enhance the premium experience further, the British brand is now offering Sports pedals and Speed treadplate plaques as standard.
